A frequent actor and director, and an occasional stage manager and producer, Lucas is passionate about acting as a craft and as a way to make this world a more equitable, honest, caring place and our souls more alive and openly connected. Theater should be a community that first cares for its own, so that all of us together can tell our stories fully—funny, profane, redemptive, frightening, healing, prophetic. Theater is also where I want to grapple with questions of transcendence, justice, mercy, and what is eternal.
